In 2015, an avid supporter of Senator Grace Poe approached Pop Up Occasions to design a Christmas greeting card for then presidential hopeful Senator Grace Poe. Her concept is to present in 3D the Filipino tradition of “Simbang Gabi”*.
Below is the photo of the personalized Christmas card Pop up Occasions created for her.
As shown in the photo above, the card depicts the Filipino tradition of “Simbang Gabi”. A church silhouette and churchgoers pop out when recipients open the card. To add to the “simbang gabi” mood, the printed background shows a “puto bumbong”** vendor and a clear blue starry night.
