As a bespoke company, Pop Up Occasions had many opportunities to design invitation cards from customers around the globe, and for various events including religious activities.
The foreign client wanted an invite card for the celebration of his son’s Bar Mitzvah event which in the Jewish tradition means coming of age for boys at 13 years old. As requested by the family, the Pop Up Occasions team came out with a 3 fold card. The first fold was a propped up silhouette backdrop of the Wailing Wall and other structures of Jerusalem. The second fold symbolically showed the celebrant in deep reverence. The last fold is an interactive tab element that depicted the pop up of the celebrant on a chair carried by his friends. Moving the tab to the right revealed the RSVP details. Other details of the event are contained in the cards which are inserted in the concealed pocket.
